The Village Hall committee arranged an Public Open Day on Saturday 2nd March 2013, to inform the parishioners and interested parties of the latest development with the community project.
The committee members were on hand to meet parishioners and to answer any questions.
Displays included the following details:
1. Maps of the existing building design with photographs..
2. Maps of the proposed new building design, including photographs of the vision of the committee.
3. Examples of the new colour scheme, flooring and windows.
4. Details of the finances inlcuding funding and grants received.
5. Many photographs of fund raising events.
6. List of the committiee members with the HLC (MERC) constitution, Equal Opportunities and Safe Guarding Policy documents and also the Charity commission details.
The public also had the opportunity to look at the developments with the ground floor of the building and the two function rooms.
The new Village Hall committee had a successful day with positive feed back from the parishioners and more offers of support.
